SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of advertisement i.e. 14-05-2026. Only retired officers of SBI (and its e-Associate banks) who retired on superannuation at the age of 60 years are eligible. Officers who voluntarily retired, resigned, were suspended, or left the Bank before superannuation are not eligible, except those who completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service/pensionable service (both conditions) as per e-Circular No. CDO/P&HRD-PM/20/2022-23 dated 21.06.2022, who become eligible on attaining the age of 60 years.

The maximum age as on the date of advertisement i.e. 14-05-2026 should be 63 years for fresh engagement (as the engagement is for a maximum of 3 years or up to attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier). SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 - Remuneration
The engaged retired officers will be paid a monthly lumpsum compensation (for full time work) as detailed below, without any perquisites and without prejudice to pension. There will be no provision for house/furniture by the Bank nor other benefits/perquisites/PF/pension fund/gratuity during the contract period. Income tax will be deducted at source as per prevailing IT rules.

SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
The selection process for SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 is based on Shortlisting and Interview. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in the candidate for being called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters. Adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the Bank to call candidates for interview shall be final.
Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. Merit list for final selection will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate scores common cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked in descending order of their age. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing in the interview process.

SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 - Roles & Responsibilities
The service of the engaged retired officers shall be used for the following purposes: verifying all loan documents and ensuring compliance of all processes of sanction and follow-up as per Bank’s guidelines; verifying deposit accounts and ensuring compliance of all related instructions; verifying other areas like remittances, bill transactions, foreign exchange, cash transactions and all other day-to-day activities including external compliance. The Internal Audit Department will decide the scope of audit from time to time as per extant provisions of the Bank. The engaged Concurrent Auditor will work at branches/outfits under the supervision of the GM(IA) of the respective CAO.

Applications must be submitted online only through the SBI Careers website https://www.sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings. Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website. After registering online, candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application form. Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature and upload them as per prescribed guidelines. The online application will be active from 14-05-2026 to 11-06-2026.
In case a candidate is not able to fill the application in one go, the partly filled form can be saved; a provisional registration number and password will be generated. The facility of editing saved information will be available for three times only. Only one application will be accepted from the Retired Officer for applying at one Circle; in case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be accepted. Hard copy of application and other documents is not required to be sent to this office. Call letters for interview will be sent by e-mail only (no hard copy will be sent).

Important Instructions for SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 Candidates
Only retired officers of SBI (and its e-Associate banks) who retired on superannuation at age 60 in the scales of MMGS-III, SMGS-IV/V or TEGS-VI are eligible to apply.
This engagement is purely contractual in nature and shall not be treated as extension in service for the purpose of PF/Pension/Bonus and other superannuation benefits.
The Engaged Retired Official will not be covered under SBI Officers’ Service Rules but will be bound by the terms of the offer of engagement.
The retired officers will not exercise any administrative/financial power during the period of engagement.
The retired officers will not accept any assignment with any other organization during the period of contractual service in the Bank.
Retired Officers with good credit/audit/Forex background should preferably be a resident of the area where the branch/outfit is located.
Only one application will be accepted for applying at one Circle. Multiple applications if received, only the last valid (completed) application will be accepted.
The existing wait list of Retired Officers empanelled as Concurrent Auditors will get cancelled with this publication.
Candidates must upload all required documents; failure to do so will result in their candidature not being considered for shortlisting/interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview process.
Contract may be terminated by giving one month’s notice from either side. Contract may be terminated without notice if performance is not satisfactory.
The selected candidate has to furnish a stamped Service Level Agreement (SLA) before taking up the assignment.
If any false or incorrect information is detected at any stage of engagement, candidature/services will be summarily terminated.
Bank reserves the right to cancel the engagement process entirely at any stage without prior notice.
