Selection Procedure:
Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Two-tier process – Online Preliminary Examination followed by Online Main Examination. Provisional allotment based on marks in Online Main Examination and actual vacancies reported by RRBs.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Two-tier process – Online Preliminary Examination followed by Online Main Examination, and then Common Interview coordinated by Nodal RRBs with assistance of NABARD and IBPS. Final merit based on Online Main Exam (80%) and Interview (20%).
Officer Scale-II (Generalist and Specialists) & Scale-III: Single Online Examination followed by Common Interview coordinated by Nodal RRBs with assistance of NABARD and IBPS. Final merit based on Single Online Exam (80%) and Interview (20%).
Interview: Total marks: 100. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). Applicable only for Officers Scale I, II and III.
Penalty for Wrong Answers: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer in all objective tests.
Provisional Allotment: Based on merit-cum-preference, Government reservation policy guidelines, and actual vacancies reported by RRBs.

The application procedure for is not fully online. Candidates are advised to follow the detailed instructions given below.
Visit the official IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP for RRBs”.
Click on the appropriate option: “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-RRBs-OFFICERS (Scale-I, II and III)” or “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-RRBs-OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose)”.
Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register by entering basic information. Note the provisional registration number and password generated.
Upload the required documents: Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, Hand Written Declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th Standard or Equivalent Certificate, and Disability Certificate/UDID card (if applicable).
Also capture and upload a live photograph through webcam or mobile phone during registration.
Carefully fill in all details in the online application form and use “SAVE AND NEXT” to verify before final submission.
Select the State/Union Territory for provisional allotment (for Office Assistants and Officer Scale-I).
Pay the application fee/intimation charges online using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form.
