A total of 83 vacancies (provisional) have been announced across 19 departments. Vacancies are subject to increase or decrease as per actual patient care requirement. Reservation is as per Government of India guidelines.

* The unreserved Senior Residents currently working against reserved category posts - interview for such posts will be conducted only when candidates belonging to the respective reserved category appear.

@ In ICU department, if PG-qualified candidates do not appear, MBBS doctors without PG degree with 02 years of experience (of which at least 1 year in ICU/General Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Casualty/Anesthesia from a government/private hospital, not a private clinic) may be considered for appointment for 01 year as Non-PG Resident against Senior Resident on contract basis.

Stage 1 – Document Verification

Candidates must report to the Faculty Reading Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad on 08.06.2026 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM with their completed offline application form, self-attested copies of all required documents, and original certificates. Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified by the Document Verification Committee will be permitted to appear before the Interview Board.

Stage 2 – Walk-in Interview

Selection will be made on the basis of acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview, conducted by a duly constituted Selection Board. Opportunity to appear for interview is on a provisional basis, subject to detailed scrutiny of eligibility criteria.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview or submission of any document.

ESIC Medical College Faridabad Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Emoluments / Pay Scale

Additional terms: Hostel accommodation/quarters will be provided to the extent possible; if availed, no HRA will be payable and license fee will be deducted as per rules. The Senior Resident shall not be entitled to PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority, Promotion, or similar perks. Eligibility will be determined as per ESIC HQ Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022 or subsequent orders issued by HQ.

Steps to Apply:

ESIC Medical College Faridabad Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Important Instructions

• These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease as per actual patient care requirements. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation, or changes to this advertisement without prior notice.

• Reservation will be as per Government of India guidelines issued from time to time. Candidates appointed under PwD quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories (General/SC/ST/OBC/EWS).

• In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, the available meritorious candidate may be given an offer of engagement for a period of 39 days at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority.

• All candidates must have updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) with all post-MBBS/MD/MS qualifications. If not updated, a copy of "Applied for" document must be shown at the time of interview. Updated certificate must be submitted before joining if selected.

• Candidates working in Govt./Autonomous/Statutory institutions should preferably bring an NOC from their employer at the time of interview. In case of immediate non-availability, a copy of "applied for NOC" and an undertaking must be submitted at document verification before the interview.

• No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining as Senior Resident at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad.

• The contract is initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. The contract will be terminated upon appointment/joining of a bonded Senior Resident on the same post.

• To resign, the Senior Resident must submit one-month advance notice or deposit an amount equivalent to one month's salary. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of one-month salary and the security deposit, and may lead to initiation of legal proceedings.

• Absence from work exceeding 07 days without prior approval from the competent authority will be considered voluntary abandonment of engagement, resulting in automatic termination. Attendance must be recorded both manually and through AEBAS on a daily basis.

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate should not be prior to 01 (one) year from the cut-off date; must be in the format applicable for Central Government appointment and issued by an Officer not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer or equivalent authority.

• EWS candidates must submit EWS Certificate as per Annexure-I of Govt. of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, DOPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt(Res), dated 31.01.2019.

• Application should be submitted for each post separately and in the prescribed format only. Application submitted in any other format or incomplete application will be summarily rejected.

• Mere submission of application does not confer any right to be eligible for interview unless the candidate reports on the scheduled date and time with all required documents.

• Result will be published only on the Recruitments section of www.esic.gov.in. Offer of Appointment will be sent through Email only.
